Refund policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with our products. We will happily refund orders on all full-priced items provided the products are within their original state and packaging.

AUSTRALIAN ORDERS

Items can be returned, for any reason, 14 Days from date of purchase.

You are welcome to:

  1. Swap for a different product; or
  2. Get a full refund (available on all full-priced items only).

Please ensure all returns & exchanges come back to us in their original condition. As soon as your return has cleared its inspection, it will be processed.

Returns Process

  1. Email us at hello@vitahaus.com.au 
  2. Provide the Order Number
  3. Specify whether you would like your refund processed to the original payment method or issued as a store credit. Please note return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
    So we can work with our artisans, please also include the reason for the return.
  4. Our team will then email with confirmation of the Return being approved. Please note goods cannot be shipped back to us prior to the Returns being approved by our team.
  5. Package your items and drop off at your nearest Post Office. We recommend shipping your package back via a traceable method for peace of mind (e.g. Australia Post) and to retain your proof of postage until you have received confirmation that your return has been processed, we are not responsible for any lost or missing parcels.
  6. Once received, your refund will be issued within 5 business days. Please note that any return shipping charges will not be included in the refund amount.

You are welcome to return for exchange or refund as per the process above. Please note Vita Haus does not offer free International returns whereby the cost of shipping is reimbursed. The carbon cost as well as price of International Shipping can make it impractical to return, so please keep this in mind. 

SALE RETURNS

We do not offer refunds on any sale items unless faulty. An online store credit or exchange will be offered if the Sales Item is returned within 14 days of Delivery Date. Please note: Delivery Date is when we get notified of the item being delivered to the address. This does not include usage of any personal or welcome discounts - this only applies to discounted sale products by Vita Haus.

FAULTY ITEMS

We will offer a full refund on full priced or sale items at the discretion of our team. We will reimburse Return Postage in this instance. For Faulty items, please follow the above process and ensure you also include:

  • Photographic proof and the email sent within the same day of Vita Haus receiving delivery confirmation, as proof that the item was faulty on arrival.  

TAXES & DUTIES

All international deliveries are shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. 

INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS DELIVERY DISCLAIMER

We use either Sendle, Australia Post or DHL as secure shipping partners from door-to-door.

If, for some reason, your parcel is misplaced by your local post, we may not be able to retrieve it and cannot refund lost item/s. Please note, this is just a disclaimer and not based on past experience.
