Elevate your home with the timeless elegance of our Antique Brass Heron Pair Statues.

Passed down from a collector in mainland Bangkok Thailand, to an avid historian named Sukchai, in Koh Samui whose small collection of wares tell a story through each piece. Some dating back to 150 years in Thai traditions, mythological beliefs and stories.

You can see Sukchai in his store, proudly sharing his story with visitors to his island - here you can hear about how passionate he is with saving history and the Thai culture.

Each statue is designed as part of a complementary pair: one stands tall with its neck extended skyward, while the other bends gracefully as though looking for food among water lilies. Together, they create a serene and harmonious scene, reminiscent of Thailand’s tranquil wetlands that you can still see today

Crafted from antique brass, these statues exude a warm, sophisticated patina that tells a story of decades past. Their timeless design and intricate details make them perfect as a statement, adding a touch of global artistry and history to your home.

CARE

  • Wipe me down with a clean damp cloth
  • Don't drag me - I may scratch softer surfaces or timber
  • Solid brass is durable however, as a natural material, may change colour over time and require a polish to bring it back to its original state

Please note: While these have been very well looked after, as 60+ year old antiques, there are some small signs of wear. Photos show the true state of the brass and statues. These were also hand made, which means - unlike mass produced machine pieces - you can see the artisans work through how they joined the pieces of brass together to form these elegant cranes.
